Kneel to Win a Race

He moves as He wants
He sets an awesome pace
Bend your head and wait for Him
Kneel down and win this race

I know it sounds confusing
Sure seems natural to run
‘On your marks, get set, then go’
Fold your hands when you hear this gun

Don’t move, don’t twitch a muscle
Though you’re fit and really fast
Be awake, alert and ready
It’s a marathon, not a dash

Your strength will only wither
Your own abilities will falter
You win this race in life
By kneeling at the altar

Isaiah 40:29-31
He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increases strength.

Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:

But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
