As long as it was only those people being threatened, it didn’t matter. As long as their civil liberties were violated, it was no big deal. But now, it is our children being threatened. It is our White House behind heavy metal gates. It is our streets patrolled by secret police.
Now it seems to matter. It threatens us all.
