Whores Convicts and Queers
Conmen Fraudsters and Fiends
The very people Jesus draws near
The same folk I still demean
Not that Christ accepts the behavior
Nor does He claim them as good
But He still wants to be their Savior
Something I’ve not understood
How can the Holy Redeemer?
The Perfect Lamb, the Divive
Invite these misfits these sinners
Into the same heaven as mine?
How can He overlook and forgive?
Why allow such evil and sin
He answered, I lowered the standard
To give you a chance to get in
The Holy Spirit’s quiet response
If I only chose those who deserve
You wouldn’t be on the list either
Heaven is for sinners reserved
Sinners who surrendered repented
These are the ones welcome here
They have rejected their earthly lifestyle
No longer whores or convicts ot queer
Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
