In heaven there is no panic, only praise! I know that here on Earth we get overwhelmed by news that causes our hearts to flutter, our heads feel faint and our stomachs feel queasy. But in heaven, there are no emergency meetings. There is no such thing as heavenly hand wringing. Angels don’t sweat!
There are no special sessions or need for contingency plans. No matter how dire, dangerous or disappointing the events of the days are, there is no need for a Holy huddle. The Godhead is never surprised or caught off guard by the depth of depravity of mankind.
Angels and heavenly host don’t panic. Instead they gather in praise. It is not that they are unconcerned of the state of affairs on earth. These concerns are dwarfed, swallowed up and overshadowed by the brightness of God’s glory. The heavenly host as recorded in the book of Revelation are in continuous praise mode.
Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
Revelation 4:11 KJV
As believers in Christ, that must be our mindset. We must stop the panic over the affairs of the decaying world and remember our purpose is to praise God.
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
Philippians 4:6 KJV
But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

When we panic, we operate from a selfish perspective. We try to force people to behave. We seek to control other people. Whenever we try to control others, we lose self control.
This is not to say that God wants us to ignore world events. What He does expect of those who claim to know Him is to surrender their minds to Him. This will help us to bring calm to chaos, help to the hurting by operating from praise not panic.
